St. George Church School was started in 1952, with the blessing of the Rt. Rev. Stevan Prostran, by Mildred DeJanovich as the first Superintendent alon with Mildred "Mimi" DeJanovich as her assistant.
When Mildred died in the late 1960's, Mimi took over as Superintendent and retired in 1972. Gayle Shimek then became Superintendent and in between 1972 to the present other Superintendents were Carol Laketa, Reenie Trizna and presently, Gayle Shimek.
